VENUE
The venue for the 2010 Summit will be Flemington – The Event Centre at the Flemington Race Course in Melbourne.
With acres of immaculately manicured lawns, an unparalleled view of the Melbourne skyline and one of the most famous rose gardens in the world, the magnificent Event Centre offers an unique blend of historic atmosphere with contemporary venues.
And it’s all only 10 minutes drive from the CBD and 15 minutes from Melbourne Airport with 6,000 car parking spaces.
Plenary sessions will be held in The Skyline Room, located on Level 3 of the Hill Stand overlooking the Melbourne city skyline.

We recommend the Radisson on Flagstaff Gardens. (We may run a shuttle bus from this hotel to Flemington each day for a small fee if we have sufficient numbers.)

If you are flying into Melbourne, we’d recommend you elect to fly in Tullamarine Airport, as this is the closest to Melbourne.

Melbourne is also easily accessible by car, bus and train.

Hi Sally – thanks for your enthusiasm for attending PeSA Summit
Valid point to note on adding “why attend” on the site – we’ll add that info, it’s on the brochure but of course, most people head online for more info!
We’re not able to offer any comps at this point in time – we keep the price for the 2 day event rock bottom so that all types of sellers can attend. As you would know, most conferences are in the vicinity of $1000 per day, so $249 for two days is about as cheap as it gets.
Hope we might see you there if you decide it’s for you after we add a little more on the “why attend” side!
Hi there. We’re going to send out an email to registrants mid-June to see how many people are staying in town and if they’re interested in a bus. I believe you’re able to book the hotel and later cancel without penalty as long as it’s a month out? If so, I’d suggest making your booking, responding when we send the email out, and making your decision then. We’ve got around 100 people booked and it looks like half are not from Melbourne, thus I think it’s a safe bet we’ll run the shuttle bus. There will be a small fee, we’ll just divide the cost of the bus by the people on it. Based on the quote we have, it will be about $6 a trip. We have previously recommended people stay out at venue at Quest, but had some complaints because (a) you still need to walk 15 to get to actual venue on the track and (b) some people like to stay where there’s a bit more action. Hope that helps. If you have further queries, just email directly to claire@brazen.com.au.
