WHAT SIZE BUSINESSES ARE REGISTERED? We’ve got a great mix so far, with 15% of sellers expecting $1 million+ in revenue this year, 10% expecting $500k-$1milion, 15% expecting $250k-$500k and the balance below $250k. Of Sellers registered, 25% only sell on eBay, with the rest using eBay as one of their channels to market.

Learn about NEW eBay Store packages and ‘Best Match’ at PeSA Summit

Yesterday eBay.com.au announced big changes to both Stores and search.

From 10 September ALL eBay store listings (often referred to as SIF listings) will appear within the main eBay search results. Increasing the profile of these listings should help sellers meet the growing demand for Buy It Now by giving Store listings greater visibility than they currently receive.

‘Best Match’ is a new search algorithm that uses a number of factors to help rank listings. It is being introduced to manage the extra volume of listings appearing in the main search results.

The other big news for sellers on eBay is the introduction of new Store packages (including new pricing for Stores). To encourage larger and growing sellers to meet the increased demand for more Buy It Now eBay are introducing three new Store packages which offer some lower insertion fees and free gallery, among other benefits.
